Bag Review: Swiss Army Wheeled Tote Bag

I have a love/hate relationship with traveling. On one hand, I love seeing new places and the actual journey I’m on – and love the unexpected sights and sounds of different cities. Nothing wrong with that.

But on the other hand, I detest TSA inspections, standing in long lines, cancelled flights, and the other hassles that accompany modern-day travel. (We’ve come a long way from the glory days of flying, for sure!)

As an interesting aside, take a look at how things used to work in the airline industry.

These days, we’re not so lucky and things aren’t so luxurious. So whenever I can give myself a bit of a “travel advantage” I take the opportunity. One such advantage is to use the excellent wheeled tote bag made by Victorinox Swiss Army (which you can buy at ePromos).

You already know that Swiss Army is a world recognized brand. They’re known for innovative style, function, durability and performance. This custom promotional wheeled travel tote has all those characteristics, and best of all it makes traveling just a little bit more pleasurable – even when I do have to stand in a TSA line!

Bag Review: Vortex Sling Computer Backpack

Today I am reviewing the Vortex Promotional Compu-Backpack with Sling Strap from ePromos. This product is SKU #8835846, and it’s found in their Bags department (under Backpacks and Sling Bags).

One thing you will immediately notice about this computer bag is that it’s very easy to throw over the shoulder. The strap adjust to the right or to the left, so it will work for anyone. Sling bags are easy to carry due to having only one strap, and they look pretty nice as well. This bag looks very nice, and has a large imprint area – so you can put a big embroidered logo right on the outside where it’s visible.

You really need to consider computer/laptop bags if you want to buy a quantity of giveaway bags, because most people have either a laptop or an iPad (or some other kind of tablet PC) these days. The Vortex can accommodate a laptop up to about 15″ wide – but not anything as big as a 17″ Macbook for instance. Even so, most people will have a 15″ or smaller, so this bag should be good for your audience of recipients.

The standard features of the Vortex bag include a side zippered compartment (that gives access to the interior computer sleeve) and it has a main zippered compartment with a smaller interior pocket for an MP3 player or something small. (This pocket has an opening for earbuds.)

This bag also has a front zippered pocket with a key fob and interior pockets – great for holding a couple of pens, etc.
It also has a side mesh pocket.
